Altun Gıda is a family company which was established in 1981 in İskenderun township of Hatay in the south of Turkey and which succeeded in spreading its export network to many countries of the world with its experience.
With our new investment in 2024, we have established a new citrus packaging line with 12 lines, 108 cameras, near and far infrared vision, which allows us to prepare high quality products by detecting and separating internal and external quality defects of the products. We aim to increase our daily processing capacity to 500 tons with our new line, which offers untouched products without the need for extra labor with robotic casting, artificial intelligence-supported selection and robotic packaging units.
Importance and necessity of institutionalization, innovations in technology and increasing customer requests, the liability to perform in a way more reliable way and on time encouraged us to make new investments.
Altun Gıda continues its operations in its new packing facility with completely computer controlled two fully automated citrus processing machine located in Dörtyol township of Hatay which is the vital point of citrus products since 2003.
Our Mission
Altun Gıda, with more than 35 years of experience, makes a production of 40,000 ton citrus and 6 thousand ton vegetable with its 21 100% GLOBALGAP certified contracted producer in an area of 3,200 decare land by increasing its investments in time.
Together with our producers, we adopted it as a principle to keep the food safety criteria at the top level during agricultural production process from the growth of citrus in garden to its packing.
As Altun Gıda, we proceed our way with firm steps in order to reach all our targets and by working hard towards our new targets.
Packing facility, has 14,000 square meters indoors are within 32,000 square meters total area and it has 3,000 ton eight degreening and cold storage boxes.
Our two fully automated citrus processing machine which have the capacity to pack 46,000 ton annually, 300/350 ton product packing daily and export these to our customers have the features of robot casting, electronic painting, separating products based on color, caliber and weight.
Altun Gıda has obtained GLOBALGAP , BRC, ITU certificates by improving itself and its existing systems in order to provide higher quality and more controlled products in terms of health to its customers.
