Apricot

Apricots are a sweet and fleshy fruit from the Rosaceae family, growing on the Prunus armeniaca tree. They are usually small, round, or oval-shaped, with a yellow or orange outer shell, sometimes covered in red spots. The inner part is yellow or orange, with a hard pit in the center. Apricots can be consumed fresh, dried, or processed.

Apricots are rich in nutrients. They contain vitamins A and C, potassium, dietary fiber, and antioxidants. Vitamin A, especially in the form of beta-carotene, is beneficial for eye health. Vitamin C strengthens the immune system. Dietary fiber supports the digestive system and promotes a feeling of fullness.
