Pointed Pepper

Pointed peppers (Capsicum annuum) are a distinctive pepper variety known for their long, thin, and pointed structure. A member of the pepper family, originating in Central and South America, pointed peppers are widely grown in Europe, particularly in the Netherlands and Spain. In Turkey, greenhouse farming is increasing production in the Mediterranean region.

Thanks to their sweet flavor, thin skin, and fleshy texture, pointed peppers are popular both for fresh consumption and culinary use. Used primarily in dolmas, roasts, and salads, this pepper variety distinguishes itself from other green pepper varieties with its mild sweetness.
